Scotiabank Marathon Charity Challenge – Calgary & Vancouver

Are you a runner? Does the idea of raising funds for Ovarian Cancer Canada while training for a race excite you? Ovarian Cancer Canada is once again taking place in the Charity Challenge and we would like to invite you to run with us this year. Join us across Canada for the Scotiabank Marathon series in 2018. The run will be taking place in two cities in Western Canada: Calgary and Vancouver. For detailed registration instructions for each city, please see below.

Join Ovarian Cancer Canada’s team, train for your run and fundraise to overcome ovarian cancer. Challenge yourself with options of running a full marathon, half-marathon or the 10km race on May 27th.

To join the OvarianCancer Canada team and waive your registration fee, contact Ashley Law directly at 1-877-413-7970 ext. 235 or by email at alaw@ovariancanada.org. A limited amount of waived registrations are available so please contact Ashley soon.



The run is happening Sunday, June 24th, in Vancouver and you can choose to run the 5K or the half marathon. When you use the Charity Discount Count you receive a discount on your registration fee! To register for the Charity Challenge, please follow the instructions below:

Registration Process:
Register for the race and follow prompts until the Charity Challenge section. Click “yes” and select Ovarian Cancer Canada in the drop down menu and type the appropriate charity code as found below. When asked if you would like a fundraising site through Artez, select this. This will create your own fundraising site to use to solicit and track donations.

Customized Registration PIN Codes:
Your customized charity pin code for race registration will be:

  • Half-Marathon discount code: 18OCC21K
  • 5K discount code: 18OCC5K

NOTE: The charity pin code must be used at registration. It is important to use the charity pin code to have your registration fee discounted and so you can join the Ovarian Cancer Canada team!
