Cracking Cancer Documentary

A CBC documentary airing next week puts the spotlight on an innovative approach to understanding and treating cancer happening at BC Cancer Agency.

Cracking Cancer follows a group of patients with incurable cancer, as they go through the Personalized Onco-Genomics (POG) program, a world-leading trial at BCCA that begins by sequencing the patient’s genome, pinpointing the specific mutations that led to the growth of the cancer.

The documentary, part of CBC’s The Nature of Things is hosted by David Suzuki, and airs next Thursday, Feb. 23 at 8 PM.
