Concerns continue to build as the Genetic Non-Discrimination Act (Bill S-201) is expected for a second reading in the House of Commons on September 20th. While there is general, cross-party consensus that genetic discrimination should be prohibited, we need your help to ensure this translates into meaningful change.
The passing of this bill would allow Canadians the freedom to pursue potentially life-saving tests to do so without fear of discrimination. By writing to your MP and Cabinet Ministers, you will demonstrate that ending genetic discrimination is a priority for Canadians.
