Being Well (Even When You're Sick) by Elana Rosenbaum

Elana Rosenbaum, MS, LICSW, is a senior teacher at the renowned Center for Mindfulness in Medical School, where she worked with Jon Kabat-Zinn as one of the early teachers of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

being well (even when you’re sick) has many methods that offer proof positive that it is indeed possible not only to “have a life” while you’re seriously ill, but that the life can include satisfaction, ease, and happiness. Elana Rosenbaum presents the simple approach that is the same one she uses with the people in her practice of mindfulness-based psychotherapy and stress reduction – and that she uses herself as a cancer survivor.
